What's Better?.. More Bright? and then, a Jedi Moment.

On the back porch early—time to get this month's newsletter done! The morning light is soft, the air is cool—48 degrees in August and it feels like Autumn already. I have my hooded sweater on, wow.. Kids are back in school, routines are shifting, and though Summer isn’t over, the longer light days are winding down.

Driving home now, sunset comes sooner. I can tell how the adjusting room sunlight seems to move faster. Mornings are darker too—my alarm goes off and I'm now up at “dark o’clock.” I’m a natural-light lover, so I take quick notice to these shift in the late summer light.

BJ Palmer, the Developer of Chiropractic, loved shortening words. So here's

a “Chiro thot” on Light.

Once, a young boy was watching me check and adjust his dad.

What are you doing?” he asked.

“I’m checking your dad’s power!” I told him.

Then I asked him: “What’s better—more bright or less bright?”

He grinned: “Oh, less bright. It’s easier to sleep that way!” Gotta love the kiddos..

Ha! A darker room IS better for sleep, but for life? More bright is always better.

That’s the purpose of the Chiropractic adjustment: to remove interference, restore connection, and help your body function at its brightest.

That's where I come in..

A SUBLUXATION literally means a condition of 'less-light' flowing through the nerve system creating a loss of ease and function. And no one should live that way. That's why getting checked regularly is so important, for all ages, regardless of the presence or absence of symptoms.

So as we enter this season of change, remember—Chiropractic helps you adapt, heal, and shine your brightest through it all the seasons of your life. Please help others to get that big idea like you do!

9/18 is Chiropractic's 130th birthday, and lots going on here with family pirate fun, backpack winners, new babies, and much more. We’re so grateful you’re part of our wellness community.

Because you receive Chiropractic care, even as the daylight gets shorter, you'll shine long and bright. Happy Labor Day! Happy September!

See you on the tables!
